Employees & workers are exposed to risks while at work that can result in disability or death arising out of a work-related accident. Workers’ compensation policy covers accidental injury / death of an individual employee during the course of employment. A WC policy is mandatory for all Free Zones in UAE.

The policy provides coverage for:

• Temporary Total Disablement
• Permanent Total Disablement
• Medical Expenses and Repatriation expenses
• Loss of wages

As a standard market practice, insurers also offer cover for Employers Liability as part of the WC cover in the UAE.
